The whole process

Thanks to our many years of experience and continuous research in the development of our air domes, we can offer you a very large product portfolio with many utilization concepts. We offer canopies for various use concepts. These include sports facility roofings, coworking-spaces (office to go), agricultural domes, emergency accommodation (care domes), logistics domes and other individual applications such as construction site roofings and event locations.

Substrates, membranes and anchors

Our PARANET air dome can be erected on a wide variety of surfaces such as grass, concrete, sand or asphalt. It consists of a three-layer membrane sandwich with a service life up to 25 years. The membrane sandwich consists of a colour-adjustable main membrane with high light transmission, at least one insulation membrane to reduce operating costs and a protective membrane to protect against weathering and friction from the steel cord net.

During assembly, the membranes are rolled out on the installation site, the steel cord net is placed above them and anchored in the next step. Our special anchoring system does not require any additional foundations and the ground anchors are underground, so no source of danger is created. Our air domes are held in place by a spider web-like, fine rope construction. The air dome is inflated by an overpressure and can withstand even hurricane-like storms due to the special anchoring

Components and construction

A wide variety of entrance portals such as revolving doors for people, emergency doors, truck and forklift airlocks can be integrated into your air dome. The type and shape of the entrance situation as well as the design and colour can be individually configured and adapted to your needs. The durable air dome technology is installed and delivered in a PARANET 20-foot container, which is weather-protected as standard.

Weather conditions and stability

Our PARANET air domes withstand all weather conditions. State-of-the-art technology ensures stability. An automated wind gauge monitors the wind forces hitting the air dome. Thus the hall pressure is increased to 300 pascal at an early stage if necessary. The PARANET air dome can also ward off lightning strikes with its construction and divert them via the diamond-shaped steel cord net and the ground anchors.

The laser-assisted snow warning system detects snow at an early stage and automatically raises the temperature of the air dome to ensure that the snow melts off directly. This prevents snow loads from forming on the air dome membrane.
